Competition Does the correct vehicle wieght matter on the dyno??

Dyno'ed today,, not good. anyway i noticed that it has a slot on the screen for vehicle wieght and the guy said it dont matter, it was @ 7200lbs and i scaled my truck yesterday @ 7800lbs.

Shoudn't need the weight for the dyno, unless you are doing an est. 1/4 mile run to get some idea on how fast the truck would be at the track.

Using an online hp calculator, if you know the trap speed of your truck on a 1/4 mile track, you use that, and the actual weight of the truck to get an est. hp rating.
