73-87 Chevy clutch hydraulics question

I'd like to know if anyone has actually used the kenworth bracket successfully, and how much does it actually move everything up? Thanks

Kenworth bracket for alt/A/C work?

Im shure it works because it moves every thing aroundon the passenger side ,if it fits and practicle im not shure ,

but looking at your engine in mopar engine bay trim , it looks diffrent since

all the acessories are configured to work how they manted it

I think the best answer is to go to a KW dealer and see if they have one in the lot or service bay to open the hod to see how it fits /take photos

plus they haave the belt part number that will fit the application

I figure with this part # floating around for a couple of years on this and other conversion forums that someone had to have tried it by now. Looking at a Kenworth, if I can find a dealer that is willing to let me look at one, won't tell me if the Dodge accessories will bolt to it for sure either. I think I saw a picture and the person said that he had to space the a/c farther out because it hit the bracket, but now I can't find the picture anywhere. The belt is the least of my concerns, I can measure and get one at Carquest or whatever.

I went on cummins conversion.com and there is someone that posted all part #'s for the tensioner and alternator brackets to use a delco 22si alternator, it looks like a nice setup. The only real issue he had was notching the alternator bracket for the Dodge style thermostat housing water outlet and drilling out the 8 rib pulley from the Dodge style alt to fit the Delco alt.

I used that kenworth bracket and a 2001 compressor off of a dodge and it worked perfectly. I have a bracket where the upper radiator hose attaches that used a chevy alternator at production. I believe that motor and transmission are original from an RV but I reused that alternator bracket and incorporated a factory chevy small block alternator bracket and it's as solid as a rock, I'll post some pics if I can.
