Well, if they turnbuckled the turbo, you will set a code most likely if you remove it. Do you have a boost gauge. If so, are you getting more than 19-21lbs? Code gets set around 23-24 I think. SNOKING

Get under it and look up at the bottom of the turbo and see if you see a spring and/or a turnbuckle on it. Also if it is still the HY-35, it will have a solid metal tube from the turbo to the wastgate actuator (silver can). SNOKING

Don't know they come with a new wastegate actuator, called the "Bighead" actuator. It would be on the turbo, instead of the bolt to help hold it shut.
