2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Does this truck look familiar?

I'm looking at this truck at a dealer... does it look familiar to anyone? Perhaps a history?

It's an 01 2500 with a sixer...

I just bought a black 97 4x4 3500. I looked for signs of heavy towing, bombing, moding, body work, paid for a Carfax, and took the truck over to the mechanic at Rocky Mtn. Cummins for a look see. One thing I found later was the engine ID tag is missing off the timing cover. I



My impression from the pictures is:



Steering problems from the lift and tires.

Check for mods. Look like someone really wanted either a GTO or a F250 (seems like they all have to be jacked and pimped to make up for the lack of something or the other. )
