Thanks, TDR Staff

have you ever caught a cat in your fan?

when running thru the rain

My place of employment offers suck bucks (50 bucks) when ever you do something outstanding above and beyond the normal call of duty.

What does you place do ?

We get Home Depot gift cards at the end of the month if we acheive perfection. I couldn't ask for a better supervisor. Our last supervisor was Satan. He liked to manipulate the numbers and could make you a winner or loser with his laptop computer.

does getting a medal count?

My employer (US Navy) can't give us more money, so they give us little hunks of metal with pretty ribbons on 'em.

One of my former air wing commanders said something to the effect that there's more motivation in a handful of metal and ribbon than in a handful of money. Something like that, anyway.

I guess we can get "Benesuggs" or some money if we figure out a way to save Uncle Sam a few bucks.

also

my job offers a big bang buck if you can figger out a way to make or save the company some major $$$ for this there is a committee that meets once a month and they read your suggestion with all the bennies that it provides and you can get up to 5 k money, as soon as I get back to my normal routine of work I got a few I will persue ... ... ... ... ... ... I want a 5 k bomb fund, by the way it is grossed up so you actually get 5 k in hand

We get ribbons, well, we used to get ribbons. I have enough to make me look like a 3 star, got them all in the first 10 years of service. It's been over 5 years since I received one though, guess they gave up on motivating me :D .

I just get a pat on the back.

Yep, we get the same thing at my work.

But, just remember..... a pat on the back is only a few inches away from a swift kick in the butt!!!!!! :D

As a safety incentive we get a $10 gift certificate to Sears or Vons grocery if the entire crew doesn't have an accident for the month.

Well concidering I just got a $. 50 raise this week, I guess that is motivating!:D My boss has cameras all over the place I work that are tied to the internet, so he can literly sit at home and see if we are working. He does it all the time too, has even called up to say, stop doing this thing you aint supossed to be doing.

I am lucky if I don't get a swift kick!

That seems to be the only motivational thing they do here. A pat on the back would take a presidential decree. Money, only in your dreams!

And, no matter how hard you work and produce, you can only meet expectations on your review, if you are not demoted first!:-{}

We get to keep our jobs. That is the incentive we get.

We get to keep our jobs, and get to spend approx 20-30 days every three years walking around in front of the building carrying a sign.

That's OUR company's idea of a health maintenance plan.

23 yrs in... ... 7 to go.

After reading some of these posts, I consider myself fortunate working for a company that offers incentives for money saving ideas as well as safety incentives.

I've worked for two oil companies and they both offered these incentives. As a matter of fact, I'm looking at a form to send in that rewards me for my 1st year of service with my new company. We also receive bonuses for working safely. That includes the personnel in the office as well as the employees in the field.

Hey, if they wanna pay me for not getting hurt, by golly I'll let them. Speaking from experiance, getting hurt ain't no fun anyways.
