Dog is not dead...

My Austalian Shephard sleeps on his back like that but only if on concrete.

Victor always sleeps like that

Victor(114lb Doberman) always sleeps like that. He has done that since we got him as a pup. Sometimes he will actually snore

My female rottie does that too. And, the covers we keep on the sofa's usually end up like that too.

I had a Dachshund that slept like that, except she would have been under the cover with her head on a pillow.

I have a snoring black lab. Sent her down to the basement a few times so I can sleep.

Our female Airedale/German Shepherd cross likes to "air it out" when sleeping, too.

My dog sleeps like that . She came wondering up at work and never left so I took her home after about six months . I guess someone dump'd her . She is Chow or she has a lot of Chow in her . She lays on the back porch like that . You can tell she has had pups and she has lots of hair so I think she gets hot and she tries to cool off that way .

Yep, our two Shelties (male & female) sleep that way, especially if the ceiling fan is running.

My Pit Bull sleeps like that on his couch. That's right, if your a Pit Bull you get your own couch

Heck, our Shelties have their own truck and 5th wheel. They just allow us to go along camping with them.

I've owned 2 Shelties in my life they were great dogs, both died of old age, but they had great lifes. Mine use to chase birds that flew over the back yard. That was funny to watch :-laf

The two we have now are our 3rd and 4th Shelties. Our youngest (a 3-year old tri-colored male) sits in the back yard and watches the airplanes fly over on approach to Houston Intercontinental. He'll keep his eyes on them from the time they come into sight until they go far enough east where the house blocks his view. They are real clowns - too smart for my good, though. They'll work you over until they finally get what they want.
