dome lite does not come on when i open the passenger door....

i'm not an idiot nor a mechanic. but where do you start with this problem. the lite works when the driver's door opens. thanks. scott.

Try

the door switch in the pass side door jamb. It's stuck, or the 12 volt lead fell off.
