Replacing domelight bulb would blow fuse. I pulled the domelight socket out away from the cab, replaced bulb, turned the switch on, it worked! I placed small rubber gaskets, (roof nail rubber insets) between cab/socket plate, and between screws/socket plate. No more blown fuses, dome lights everytime :D Simple stuff working, makes my day :-laf Patrick :D

Hmmmm

If that fixed it then their is a short to ground internally in the socket

Socket it to me baby...

M. man, does that mean replace he socket? Where do you think I can get a new one? Thanks, Patrick :D .

You might wanna just pull the wires out of the socket and see if you can fix it. Might just need a dab of liquid electric tape.
