If they were questions, you certainly had a funny way of asking them. Your comments explicitly implied that you expected to have a voice in the decision. My question to you is, why do you think your $35 entitles you to anything beyond the privilege of posting on this website.



Why would you ask if I have any anger management issues? I've only offered rational explanations as to why I believe you are in error. Truth be known I'm incredulous (that's the translation of freakin' unbelievable) that anyone could seriously ask any of the "questions" you did.

For the record, I'm sorry too. But the decision to remove Don was made by Don himself, not the TDR. As Steve St. Laurent detailed above, Don was warned twice. His improper exercise of HIS OWN FREE WILL was the final decision maker, not the TDR staff.



I tell my children not to touch the stove or they'll get burned. If they do it anyway, in spite of my warning, is it their fault or mine? Obviously, theirs. Same thing with Don; he made HIS OWN decision.

The amount of good people that have left or been booted from this sight is amazing. Some that come to mind:

HVAC (set the standard of performance for us)

Carl (single-handedly stopped the price gouging by your advertisers)

Bill K ( single-handedly changed the quality of our auto's)

I pay for this site for information and entertainment. I find the "wars" more informative sometimes than the average "how do I change the air in my tire thread" and, yes I also watch Jerry when I get a chance. Don’t get me wrong. Everyone started with the same questions, but you need to keep the old-timers around to keep this place alive.

I don’t need censorship. I get enough from the government. I sure don’t need to pay someone willingly for it. I also don’t see any children (under-aged ones) here, so I don’t see what the problem is with healthy informative fights and even some cussing(gets the point across sometimes)

You want your peace; you may just get it when everyone else has gone to another site.

I vote for a war room! Make it private if you want, like the OTHER forum. And make it anything goes.

If it makes you feel better, have them sign a waiver that they are responsible if their eyes bug out or their brain frys because they saw the word *&^%%$#@**.

If you'll re-read Steve St. L's posting above you'll see that Don already had several "time outs" and chose to ignore gentle, corrective action on the part of the TDR moderators.



Let's consider the US criminal justice system. If criminals really served all the time they were sentenced to, I believe crime would decrease. As it is now, criminals get sentenced to 10 years and are out on probation in 2 years or less. Some deterrent. The criminals know the justice system is bluffing



Don apparently thought Steve St. L was bluffing when he was given his "time out". Obviously Steve St. L. wasn't bluffing.

Speaking of democrats, let's remember our former, past president, bill clinton. Because the economy was good we overlooked his dalliances and other crimes. What you are proposing '446' is that the people you named be given "special privileges" because of who they are. Why is it OK in your book for some people to be more equal than others? (Ever read Animal Farm?)



Republicans said that clinton should be judged for his crimes. Democrats said he should be afforded special privileges. So, tell me again why you think the people you named don't need to follow the rules? Because of who they are? Who did you say was the democrat?

Your $35 doesn't entitle you to a vote. If the TDR staff "deems necessary" a war room, they'll do it of their own accord. It won't be because of your "vote. "



What would solve a lot of problems is if people would follow the rules they agreed to when they signed up for the TDR.

"perhaps" nobody gives a rats a$$. I don't think anyone thinks this is an entitlement. It is merely a suggestion.

Every time I get to believing that ANYONE can be reasoned with I run into folks that cause me to rethink that premise. I shake my head in amazement at the arguments (if you can even dignify them by calling them that) that some folks insist on advancing, all the while dancing around the core issue, which is:



Your $35 entitles you to NOTHING but the PRIVILEGE of posting to this website, so long as you OBEY THE RULES set by the OWNERS of this PRIVATE BUSINESS ENTERPRISE.
