I ordered one of these today.

How have you all gone about installing them. I though about just sawzalling from in front of the cat to behind the muffler and then getting some 4" pipe, the muffler and some clamps and connecting pieces and putting it all together.

How has this worked for you all as far as drone when towing and egt reduction?

Your method would work. I chose to remove the muffler and cat by removing the clamps. An air chisel helps to pry up the flanges where the clamp sits because they are tightened enough at the factory to crimp the pipe.

However you do it, make sure to install as many hangers as you can on the new muffler. I have some pics I'll post if you need them.

I 'd get the band strap clamps instead of the regular clamps. Much stronger and clamp tighter and made of stainless. Jegs or Summit have them...

I think traditional guillotine style clamps clamp stronger and tighter than band clamps... only problem is you can't disassemble the exhaust very easily. the band clamps also cause more resonance than welding or guillotine clamps

Agree!

I cut the pipe a the cat. I butted the new napa supplied 4" exhaust tube up to the factory pipe and the band clamps lasted about 2 or 3 weeks before the pipe would slip out. (this does sound cool tho!)

In the end, I had that part welded since there wasn't any male <--> female fitting going to happen there. There rest of the system with the muffler delete and S-Bend pipes fit fine with band clamps and been holding for nearly 2 years now.

If you have a male to female fitting, I think the band clamp will be fine, but not fit you have to butt up to another pipe.
