I Remember seeing a post on this but cannot find it.

*Does anybody know the Donaldson filter numbers to replace the FASS filters on the 2008 Titianum series? Need both w/s and fuel numbers as a friend is wanting to replace with Donaldson. Thanks

Found the post on the filter issues with older FASS units... lengthy but good information for FASS users.

Would be great if GENO'S would send out their filter part numbers for these older units and give us some feedback for the FASS older units and how the OE canister could be hooked up on ones with the OE pump on the side. FASS instructions routed around the OE canister/pump.

Thanks

If the filter is a Donaldson it's most likely a P553203. They should both be f/w seps if the one is a original Donladson.

For the f/w sep side use a Baldwin BF1275.

I am awaiting my friends answer on his original FASS filter numbers. I know his is the OLD FASS system as he had it installed about three years ago. He has a 2004. 5 with the lift pump on the canister and it was routed around it per FASS instructions.
Per the owner his install (done at retailer) was quite a job since he also has a Fuel Tank in the bed that is plumbed with a valve etc.

He has the FS2003 and WF 2001 these are both the FASS original filters.

It appears there is a nipple from FASS for this unit and needed for the newer filters just want to make sure this is the way to go. Hope someone that is running this system will step up and give us the facts.

AH64ID It maybe the FF2003.

According to the FASS information the new nipple for his unit will upgrade the fuel filter to a FASS 3 micron and you keep the old water separator.

My friend whom has this setup called Geno's today and Andy told him they still stock the original filters and they were great filters and they have had no problems with them... Fleetgaurd brand I believe.

I was just trying to get better filtration for the friend... anyways if he is happy with Geno's knowledge of these filters efficiency then I am going to leave it alone.

If it was the FF2003 then yes he needs the new nipple (FSN-2001), then he can run a Donaldson P553203 with the Baldwin BF1275. He doesn't have to run a 2nd f/w sep, but it's not a bad idea. If he routes thru the OEM filter I would put a BF1275 and a Donaldson P551313 on the FASS, and then onto the OEM filter.
