Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Done LP electrical maintenance yet?

It has been suggested that lift pump failures are caused in part by the lack of "Preventive maintenance of the wiring and its connections". I have searched the TSBs and have not been able to find any information. Does anyone know anything about this?

Clean the connection at the lp and apply some di-electric grease to it before reconnecting it. Jake
