I want to say thanks to Daniel Puckett again for delivering my donor rig for my crewcab. He left from Southern Missouri to Northeast Oklahoma to pick it up for me, then to West central Indiana. He said he'd do it for price of fuel that he used, but I wasn't gonna do that, he had to make some off the deal so I paid him $500 which is still cheap. It's a 90 D350 5 speed. Recon Cummins. More oil pressure than my 89, runs nice, has a baby battery, timing is very retarded so it doesn't start like a champ like my 89. Oh and not much power... . YET :-laf Anyways. Here's some pics. BTW the eye candy, sorry but I wasn't gonna zoom in for all you guys LOL :-laf :D .

Great, now on too making the crew the way dodge should have built it!!!

Daniel, are you going to talk Bill outta some of the sheetmetal to make your truck real nice, maybe match the bed?? ;) ;) Oh yeah, hows come your copilot is wearing less clothes now then when we were at that dyno day in March??? Oh yeah it could have been the fact it was only about 20* that day.

I always like to see pics of first gens working. Specially getting to do "special" deliveries.

PW440, I knew about about your rigs you have for sale, only thing is the cab/chassis dually rear is narrower than the truck dually rear. I really shouldn't say what I gave for it as I may get arrested for stealing. Sweet running Recon motor, reman getrag, great front clip etc . . $1500+$500 to Daniel for the haul. Got the front clip off and both doors. Now just gotta get me a engine hoist.

how much narrower are they? i wasnt aware of anything being dif. ya thats a pretty sweet price! im working on getting a 91-93 dodge ext. cab 4x4 ctd off a guy. its been sitting in his yard for over a year now with the t-case and front drive shaft laying on the ground. and another one just like u picked up i talked to the guy 2 years ago about it and told me to get lost he was going to fix it but i see it about every day sitting in the same spot with parts missing. owell guess u cant have them all put i sure try! :-laf

Hea PW is it a gray one east of the town you have listed as home? I noticed one up that way in the middle of the winter torn apart with weeds under it.

On SR 6 between 13 and 15 if memory serves me right. (LOL) North side of the road in the middle of one of the wide spots called a town. The house also had a bunch of other junkers laying around to. It was a dark gray W250. Rough looking to. If it had been a W350 I would have been beating on his door. :D

THanks for the comments, guys ;). Bill, dont ding that front clip up too much. Still have to get a quote for paint- just the cab, even though the bed could use a retouch. ANyway, it wasnt a bad trip overall, except the trialer pulls like a sled through mud- averaged 11mpg on the trip, should've been (with a normal pulling trailer) in the mid teens.

Daniel

Don't feel bad about MPG's Daniel, whenever my truck sees a trailer, whether its a small car trailer or my 32'er its 10-11 mpg. Couldn't be for my desire for rolling black smoke, and pulling around anything else, could it? ;)

Michael

Wow

Hey Bill, what did you do/say to Daniel to get him to take off his hat???? :-laf I don't think that I've seen him without. :-laf

All I've got to say is, WOW, what a good lookin' blue and silver dually bed. :D Maybe you could put Daniel's old one on your new doner rig. :-laf

And Daniel, I think that you are going to have to watch 'ol Bill, everytime he refers to Christina he uses the term "eye candy. " :-laf

I would have offered to haul that for ya Bill, but you know how current that I keep up. Ya snooze, ya loose.

Hey Chris, I noticed that, too. But, he was telling me he had some "eye candy" to bring to next Oct's gathering in Peru, so it may just be something he uses to to refer to women who are under 40 and good looking. :-laf.

BTW- I forgot to mention, the little woman did some driving on the trip to TH, pulling the trailer with the pickup on it. After I told her to shift at about 26-2700rpm, she did alright.
