I never thought I would hear a former traitor admit their transgressions.

In a way, he is. He gets to wake up every day and live with what he did. He is trying to atone for a series of terrible mistakes he made in the 60's. There were alot of people who wanted to see Nixon do jail time because of his transgressions. What happened to Nixon after Watergate is far worse than any time he could have served in prison, at least IMO. His prison was watching how history would judge him and knowing before he died, how he would always be viewed. Most people are spared this fate, but not Nixon. He got to witness public opinion up close and personal for almost 20 years. He got to see how history would judge him. He knew for all of history, the world would look at his presidency and forget anything and everything good that he accomplished. For those who are put in so lofty a position, only to end up in such a low place: that is a most fitting and painful punishment. I digress... Mr. Horowitz will never be able to undo the damage he caused, but if he can help to prevent a repeat performance, I think that is good.

I really hope that writing gets to the people who need to see it, today and tomorrow. It may help persuade some people into becoming united for a single cause for the benifit of this country. Unity over time is the key to our success in this campaign if we are to be successful. We all know"Divide and Conquer". Thats what needs to happen on the other side this time. The writing shows how your actions today can have an unkown adverse affect in the future. Hindsight.
