I have a stock 12 valve,130,000 miles, that has a slow rough idle on start up. It runs excelent after its warm,any idea whats wrong?

Sounds like something in the fuel system, have you changed the fuel filter and checked the prefilter?



Air in the system can cause the same problem, check your fuel hoses closely, they rot and crack and bleed in air mainly when the truck is off. Check the larger 1/2" OD (3/8" ID) suction hose from the prefilter back as far as you can go... The smaller return line (5/16" ID) usually breaks down quicker directly between the fuel filter and the block.
