door chims need to desable them

I would like to know if there is any way to off the door chims I am in and out of my truck all time and would like to disable it . The sound of if is to load and wrong pitch for my ears . Would sure appricate any help ---- 2013 Laramie 2500 4x4 srw b&w hitch

I too would at least disable my seat belt chime, like I was able to do in my '06. On job sites while moving from spot to spot, there's just no need for a seat belt! Doug

My 2011w

My 2011 close doors turn ignition to lock and buckle belt,turn key to run do not start within 60 seconds unbuckle and rebuckle 3 times ending buckled. Turn key to lock a single chime will sound. My truck now
will only beep once . Hope this helps.

Please fill in your signature, it really helps to know what model year. If Cissco's suggestion doesn't work for you, door chimes can be disabled with the dealer scan tool

2013 Laramie 2500 I just did mine it works great as a reply stated turn ignition to run do not start plug seat belt in 3 times leave in turn off key and it should work

Just wanted to post a follow up to my original question. On the same trip to enable the rear fuel filter heater, I asked the service department to turn off the chime, and even though my Business Link salesman told me there was no way they could to that, they did! I was unable to make it happen on my own, but am very happy they did! Thanks to you guys for the info on both issues! Doug
