2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Door Hinge

My 1996 2500 Ram has a worn out door hinge pin. I tried to buy some but they tell me that they are not available. All the dodge dealer has is a new hinge. Has anyone ever rebulit one? It sure would be a lot cheaper then buying a new one. I would appreciate any information anyone has.
