Door Lock Wire Colors

Does anybody know what color the door lock and unlock wire colors are?



I am installing a power locking tailgate.

I can tell from my service manual, but I need to know which door you want to use... yes, they're all different.

What year is your truck, they are different wire color scheme for 03 and 04. Went through this when I got my 04 in 12/03. Accessory manufactuers were unaware at that time aboutthe change, it was fun. I have both 03 and 04 service manuals, tell me what you got and I look it up.

I am sorry I forgot to list what year the truck is. I was on a trip and in a hurry. It is a 2004. 5 3500. That instructions said to look for a orange/black and a pink/black, but I could not find them.

It looks like I need to also mention that it is a Quad Cab. If I am looking at the diagragm right. The drivers door is TN/LG for unlock and LG for lock or for the driver rear door TN/OR for unlock and LG for lock. If anybody knows that I am reading this correctly or incorrectly please let me know.

Well I was right. I can read. the TN/OR is for unlock and the LG is for lock. The wires are in the drivers side kick panel for anybody else who is looking for them.
