Does anyone know how to get the doors to quit auto locking at 15 mph on my '01? I do not have an owners manual and it is driving me crazy

Sit in drivers seat.

Close all doors.

Turn ignition on, off, on, off, on, off, on leaving on the 4th time.

push drivers side lock switch to on (within 30 seconds).

You should hear one chime.

Repeat to turn them back on.

Or

C. It is spelled out in the owners manual.

I am not saying which one is correct though (I don't seem to have much extra time lately).

I can only conclude that:

A. Walter has way too much time on his hands

Or

B. He's The Truck Whisperer

I applaud Walter for knowing the procedure, which means he read the owners guide and remembered what he read. I also read my owners guide thoroughly, however the procedure is a little different for my 05.

That is one of the first things I disabled. Never fail when I would go around to passenger side to get something out of the truck and the door was locked.

Good grief man, why?

Let her figure it out on her own.

Sorry for the late reply, but we get along MUCH better now... Best friends before marriage, got along like vinegar & baking soda while married :-{}, and now back to best friends (with benefits) after divorce

She asked nicely for the truck and I gladly let her take the one with 225k as opposed to the '09 with 13k at the time!

Truth is that I do miss the truck, but I have no need for 3 trucks for just me :-laf
