Door opener

My '03 came with the overhead console with the garage door opener. My old opener was to old and my recent purchase calls for "a rolling code???? My Chamberlain opener does not describe anything of that nature. Am I inept or doing something wrong?? Any help is appreciated. Don

I have a Chamberlain with the rolling codes. It worked with my 03 and 06 with no problems. You might have to read both manuels to get it to work. You have to use the truck programing like it says in the owners manual. Clear all settings by holding all three buttons. Pick the button you want as your door and hold it until it flashes and then hold the new opener button down. The part you might be missing is that after you program the truck with your door opener, you have to program the garage motor to see the new remote(truck). You have to take the cover off of the back of the opener and press the learn/program button. Then press your truck button. It only gives you a few seconds to do this so you might need 2 people. The lights will flash on your opener and your all set.

Mine is also rolling code and fozzy is right, you have to push the learn button on the back of the head unit to synch the truck with it.
