Ok I had to take my door panels off the other day to do some work. So when it came time to put it back together I had lost a couple of thos little yellow thingies that hold the panel to the door. So I went to the local auto body supply store, but they didn't have any and would have to order them. I just decided I would go to the dealer, I mean really how much can they be. !!!!!

Well wouldn't you know it the dealer wanted $3. 00 each plus tax. :-{}

I basically told him he was out of his mind for wanting that much money for a little peice of plastic.

So my question is does anybody know a part number for them or know a place online which has them were I could order from. I have found similar ones but hard to tell from pic if its the same most places I found wanted about $8. 00 for a bag of 50.

Try www.elliottdist.com. Sorry but can't remember the part number. I do remember it was $11. 00 for a box of 50 sent to my door. I think it was part # 11796. Type in "door panel" in the search area and you will see them

When I needed some I tried all the auto parts stores and nobody had the same ones. Tried to make some work but just didn't cut it. Went to my local dealer and he had some he'd bought from an aftermarket source that were the exact ones. He sold me 10 of them for $3. 00. Guess it all depends on the dealer.

Ok Thanks for the responses I found them. I am not in any hurry for them right now. I just want to find a place and order a bunch just to have on hand. Thanks again

Check you local Commercial oriented nut & bolt shop. They often sell an assortment of fasteners. If your city is large enough you may have a fastener supplier as well that probably carries everything under the sun.

+1. Same here "I took one to NAPA and they also had a bag of them for about $3. 00. It pays to shop around. Free market RAINS!!!!!!"

If you have an automotive paint supply store - a place where the body shops get their supplies - try them. They often have these types things that you won't find in the parts stores like NAPA, Autozone, etc.
