The power window motor on the passenger side of my 250 with standard cab appears to be needing attention - but not sure how to get the inner panel off to check it out. Anyone worked on one of these who can educate me?

I have replaced the window motor drive clutch on the drivers side window a couple of years ago. The clutches are available at Pep Boys for around $20. 00, or you can replace the drive motor assembly (with clutch) for around $120. 00. Usally the drive motors are good, and only a clutch replacement is necessary. The door panel removal is by far the easiest part of this job, and if you find that to be a challange, I highly recommend having the job professionally done. Removal of the drive motor requires removal of the entire track scissor mechanism in order to access the mount bolts to the drive motor. Or you can take a hole saw (1/2"-3/4") to the inner door skin panel and make your own access holes to the drive motor mount bolts.
To remove the inner door panel, remove the inner door handle bolt, and the armrest screws. Using a screwdriver or small prybay, carefully pop the door panel retainer clips around the perimeter of the door panel. Unplug the door switch from the wire harness.
Before attempting to remove the drive motor, make sure the battery is disconnected.

AH! So there ARE clips around the panel perimeter! I see evidence of some of that double-sided sticky tape at a few points, and was afraid the panels were GLUED on... Thanks for the tips, will check it out further tomorrow...

The 92's also have three screws down in the lower part of the door panel (sort of hidden in the carpeting) that need to be removed. I don't know if the 91's have these or not?
