... what gives. First the right one cuts out then I hit a bump and the left one cuts out. Is there possibly some loose wires or is it time for some decent aftermarket speakers. If so which ones???Also how do you get the door panels off? I started to pull out on them but I didn't want to break something... . Doug

My right speakers act up now and then depending on the dampness in the air. They get very garbely and sound like they're going bad - then later they'll work just fine.

I too would like to know if there's any aftermarket speakers out there that are reasonably priced, yet as good or better than the stock ones. Are the ones sold at Walmart any good? I don't want to spend $500 on speakers.

Are you still under warranty?

I had all my speakers replaced at the dealer, They were crackling from time to time. .

Your friendly dodge dealer knows or should know about the problem. ( ie water and moisture) if the dealer replaces the speaker under warrentee, the replacements are installed with a water barrier/foam shield around them. ask your friendly mechanic about it,good luck. :)

Thanks Bill,I called my freindly Dodge dealer. The speaker/amp assemblys are $184 apiece :--) . Oh well,I guess no DISCO MUSIC for a while ;) :D ... Doug

One of the back door speakers in my truck rattles with low bass:mad: I could probably figure out how to fix it but I'm a bit hesitant to rip the door panel off. Seems like they never go back on as tight as they were when new. If I get into the dealer, I'll have them check it out.
