Read here last week or so about a key on/seatbelt latching sequence used to disable the dinging of the seat belt chime. I use my belt 100% of the time anyway, but hate listening to the chime upon startup, etc. Anal retentive nature I guess.

Anyone know how to do this, please let me know. I'll be eternally grateful... ... ..... :D

Mine doesn't ding unless the door is opened with key in ignition not running, seat belt or not. I can drive without seatbelt and not get anything but belt light. Try starting the rig with belt hooked and releasing it after startup. Sorry I can't help more. Mike

For the door chime, I think I removed the lower cover on the steer column and unplugged or cut a blue wire loop at the key. It was 3. 5 years ago. SNOKING
