IS ANYONE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE DOOR BOTTOMS RUSTING ON THE SEAMS I HAVE A 2000 QCSB 2500 . DEALER CLAIMS IT A OUTER BODY RUST PROBLEM AND NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. MY 90 1TON CHEVY DID THAT AFTER 8 YEARS OF ABUSE .

I don't know what has changed in the last few years, but in 96 it was 7yr/100 mile warranty againt outer body rust. The only catch was it had to rust a hole all the way through the outer body panel. An ice pick will take care of putting a hole in it :)

warning: check your warranty first before using the ice pick :D

I had the doors on my '94 fixed 2 1/2 years ago, I thought they fixed that!

You might try contacting Chrysler or another dealer. DC used to fix rust/paint issues for original owners that took good care of their vehicles.

I've heard that you are suppose to remove those plastic plugs located at the bottomside of the door. This allows the water that leaks in from the window seal to run out again.

I'm serious! I still haven't removed mine yet though.
