Dose tst pmcr shut down power?

Happy Hollidays!! Dose the tst pmcr with the R-49 remote

shut the power down when u set the exhaust temps, or how

does it actually work? And what is the twins program that some

of u have talked about?

Based on either the Max EGTs you set or the Max Boost you set, the TST R49 will begin defueling when the Max is reached for either one. Not a complete loss of power, just defuels until under Max setting. Although on the track it does seem like a complete loss of power when I forget to disable the features.



The TST twins program is a program designed to fuel heavier and more I think at lower boost levels. Designed for high horsepower engines with twin turbos or large single turbo replacements.

The "twins program" is a diffrent software version that ramps the fuel in diffrently. The standard program begins to add fuel proportional to boost then ramps the fuel up as the boost climbs until you get max fuel (for your setting) near 30 psi boost. The twins program starts the same but ramps at a much steeper rate delivering max fuel at about 12 psi boost. It hits hard and fast and can be a real killer on small turbos.
