Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Fire rings
Having just got my truck back from the Haisley, for none other than a blown head gasket. I pondered the fire ring, o ring, studs dilema. Van told me that they have had a few fire rings crack, on them. Said the fire rings are an excellent solution for pulling trucks, or someone who has there head off all the time. He just wasn't for sure how they would hold after 100,000 miles. He had lots on the street but they all had less than 50,000 miles. He offered me another solution that was an experimental deal. I still have some other issues with my trucks ECM right now, but once that is cleared up and the weather holds, I will start poaring the coals to it and be able to offer some feedback.
