dpf back exhaust. just looking for some sound. i know about the deletes and the tuner to delete the codes but i have a warrenty and cant do that just yet so until then just looking for some sound... . so dpf back exhaust, change the sound at all or just a waste???

waste for sure

I have been thinking about this also. I have looked on You Tube and there are a few videos of this and they sound like gas rigs. Still sounds better than a Power choke.

lotsa money involved

If you do decide to do the dpf back exhaust you will need a tuner to turn off the regen and egr and dpf. i have been looking at H&S XRT PRO

Dpf back does not need a tuner. If it is dpf delete a tune is needed (H&S or Smarty). As far as sound with a dpf back exhaust, not waste your money. I did it and there was no change in sound or performance.

Like said above. As long as the DPF, Nox filter, and the Catalytic converter stay in place, there is no need for any kind of tuner for codes and such. As far as sound, won't really have any effect at all.

My thoughts exactly. . no change in sound... I have a 09 and didn't think anything would chance as well... . and if your exhaust is bad or needs replacing then yeah go get a good one then... The better money spent for looks only would be a really cool tip for the pipe.
