I'm not following the price structure. Starting at $10,500 for a quicky blowie, a complete resto starting at $41,400 all the way up to near 6 figures.

Sounds like they do some big equipment.

Depending on the price of the three cleanings, Dpf seems like a plausible option around every 60-90k miles, or depending on when your likely going to need your scr filter serviced. My first scr service happened @89k. At 154k now, I’m not looking forward to another $3200.00 RAM service.

While it’s not the same as off vehicle cleaning, you can use Alfa OBD to run a stationary desoot. Stationary desoots are much more effective than the standard active regen. An average active regen may last 10 minutes while a stationary one last 60.

I’ve done two stationary desoots right before an oil change and my DPF back pressure still drops to 0.00 at idle after a regen. I have 45K miles on the DPF.

Cheap and should extend the life of the filter.

I need to figure this one out, I am at 19k and would like to do so at least anually.

Yeah, The security bypass cable came the other day so I have no excuses now but need to carve out some time. In you experience is it a problem to do the DeSoot without the oil change? I did my oil change back in Aug or Sept at 15k. I am not due until likely that time again as I do not plan to go on another big trip so will likely time out on the 12mo for the service.

I've changed the oil within a few days of each of the desoots I've done and the difference in UOA's compared to before I started doing the desoots are negligible.
There shouldn't be an issue but I prefer to coordinate them close together anyhow.

My thoughts as well. If you consider that a manual regen “button” is an option on a C&C and that dealerships will do them for full DPFs, all without an oil change it tells me it’s a non issue.

How often do you do the desoot, every 20 k it looks like? You leave your truck idle for an hour while it goes through the desoot procedure? Is this a maintenance requirement from Ram or just good preventive maintenance? I'm waiting to pick up my 22 3500 HO from Dillon Dodge and I wasn't aware of this prior to reading this post

Every 12 months, as I normally don't hit 15K miles in a 12 month window.

The truck increases the rpms to 900 for the stationary desoot, but yes it just sits there and cooks the DPF. The exhaust is hot enough at 3' from the tip to singe leg hairs. It's purely for preventative maintenance.

Dennis Dillon in Caldwell? If so, who is your salesman?

Any other specs on the new truck?

I've got the Alfa OBD already from my previous Ram so I'll have to do some research on it running the program. My salesman is Trent Meistrell at Dillon Dodge, I looked around and they offered the best deal without having to fly to across country to pick up the truck and he was really easy to work with. Our local Ram dealer in Bend wanted to tack on an additional $3000 on MSRP for an ordered truck. I ordered a Tradesman 3500 long bed 4x4 HO. I read that with the chip shortage a loaded truck could be delayed for quite a while so I kept it pretty simple. I ordered it in December and have the VIN but no idea when it's getting built or will show up, I guess/hope around April but we'll see.

In the Portland OR area they want to add $4995 to the MSRP and for those who want the Jeep Gladiator when they get one they want to add as much as $10K to MSRP, if your in Bend OR I have heard they long wait time for repairs so I hope yours truck runs without problems...

Yeah, in Bend it doesn't matter what you have, the wait time for any brand is a long time, they need more than one dealer in town for each brand as it's gotten big enough it's become an issue. I dread the thought of going to Portland anymore, so disappointed in how bad that place has become.
