Dpf egr

I know the EPA has cracked down on the tuner companies, but is there any company that makes a tuner that is reliable to use? I have read others delete the DPF with sims in early model Rams but have cel light on. Is it possible to remove the DPF and disable or block off the EGR with out a tuner?
Here is a link I found about DPF delete can anyone tell me if this is true? Or just BS

Yes; you can delete using a tuner depending on the year of your truck there are several that can work. Now the early truck say from 2007.5 to 2010 can get by with a Smarty jr/SR67 or H&S and Edge. Now these are not available any more on the open market they can only be bought used and you need to insure that they are not VIN locked to another truck before you buy one.

The other option is too use a product called EFILive these will work and are available for sale they are a New Zealand Co. that has had very great success with the Chevy/GMC crowd and now are starting to program them for the Cummins engine. My son has one on his 06 and say’s it is great; night and day over his Smarty he used. See attached link: http://www.efilive.com/ another tuner is RACE ME which looks like a Smarty to me for sale as a delete capable tuner in the US.

From what I have read and seen the EFILive is the best one on the market as of today. I know nothing about the RACE ME Tuner; so I cannot answer questions on that.
