I'm thinking about replacing my SPA Boost/EGT gauage as I am starting to get fed up with the increasing trouble with it. I was looking at the Dpricol Optix gauages that Geno's has and think that look pretty sharp.

Since I would have to get two gauages (boost and EGT) to replace the one SPA I figured I might as well get three gauages in the Optix. The gauages I would get would be Boost, EGT and Trans temp. I already have a Dakota Digital FP in the cubby that has worked flawlessly for almost 5 years.

I figure I would go with the dash pod mount for a farely stock look.

I have a couple of questions first:

1) For those out there that have them how do u like the Optix line? quality, lighting, closness to stock look, accuracy etc? Let me know the good and the bad.

2) For the Trans temp sender what is the best compromise between easy install and accuracy? From my research it looks best to stay away from the trans test ports and I dont really feel like replacing the trans pan with a Mag hytech at this time.

I have read about a replacement trans cooler line with a port in it and about t-ing off the stock trans temp sender, with the later appearing to have some other effects on the trans going into OD while cold and the need for a diode inline for it to work.

I checked Mass Diesels Web site, for the replacement line but the site appears to be having issues/updating and there is not much info there.

3) For those that have them, how do u like the dash pod mount. Give me good, bad ugly on them.

Thanks in advance and any other ideas, let them fly im open to suggestions. See sig line for truck info.
