I guess Naven succeeded in stirring us up

Attacks on several well-known vendors all in one sentence, and without any data to back up the allegations.

BD has a new flyer for their dealers comparing their brake to the new kid on the block who is trying to be the bully. They include some interesting dyno tests.

As for overfueling, I agree and would never do that to my poor old Sickly Ram :D Just for clarification, I understand that overfueling is that level of fuelling that ceases to increase power and reduces power. Sickly ain't there yet ;) I can't see any smoke while looking out the windshield. :p

To those of you who are wondering where Dr. Performane is now? He is doing well in Weatherford,Texas. I was just about to call him till I read the thread about him. So to all who want to see him he is here in Texas.

I forgot to add this,

A friend came to me and said, "A friend of mine has a Cummins and he just installed a Banks Power-Pack and he thinks he is hot ****, what can I do to make my truck faster and pull better so he will shut up?" I replied with $600 and I installed a PE Comp. He called me the next day and told me what everybody on here already knows... Lets just say it was an a$$ kicking.

That fool is in Texas....

He is in Texas? And he didn't come down to the LSTDR Rally in Sept. ???

I outta go in there asking for some SPA's, when he says you don't need them I should say, "thats what you said to my buddy who put a pryo on later and pegged the 1500*"

A kid at worked and I got talking last night about his Dad's '99 3500. Turns out he saw Pier's old blue truck on Crank and Chrome and so he bought the truck, then went and put a Banks kit on it. I told him I could make his truck do that, then I thought, no I would lead him to the right people... maybe. If he comes back I'll hookup my COMP box and show him the power, then order one on Pier's $575 deal, and sell it for $700!:D

HiPerf360 -

If you want a copy of it just right click it and save picture as. Or I can email it to you.

Thanks Kat, that is the only pic I have of my own truck, I took it from a local message board and never edited it.

Notice I leave the equalizer hitch in when i go to the track, it makes it look more like a farm truck LOL.

NJohnson has already won the award for the most tasteless post a few months back for an on-line mega-flame of Wowzy while attempting to support Banks on another thread.

I see not much has changed... ... ... ...

banks and DR.performance

You know I have felt bad when I have met people that have banks and dr. p installed in there truck, especially after I hear how much they paid for the stuff, WOW!

I have driven trucks equipted with both banks and dr. p, and the gains are a joke, for the money. For the cost of a torque plate form TST, or piers you can produce as much or more power than what you can get form banks, or dr. p. , for a lot less money.

Just my 2 cents.

I doubt that's Dr. P, Barry Sadler, in Texas. He has the name franchised in several states. Including Kentucky.

As for the bankruptcy, that's a rumor going around. Even if it were true, it wouldn't necessarily mean the shops, the name, the person would disappear .

If I recall correctly, Stratos Boats in Tennessee, builders of a bass boat that sold like hotcakes, recently filed for bankruptcy. The overwhelming consensus in the industry, and among fishermen & boat owners, is that they did it in order not to have to honor the "lifetime" warranty on the hull of boats nearly 20 years old. Now the founder of that company, Earl Bentz, has started Triton Boats, and those are selling well, too. Guess they'll last for 20 years, then who knows? He's very good with his advertising too, but hasn't made any false claims that I could see.

People are saying that he'll do the same thing with Triton, or sell it , and let the new owners worry about it.

jonathan , how the heck are you going that fast with a stick ??? man the more i see this the more i realize there is something wrong with my truck , it should be going much faster ...

as far as the dr. of pee ...

Where have I seen Naven Johnson?

If I remember correctly, the Naven Johnson I know was last seen trying to sing and dance to soul music somewhere in the deep south. I believe he lost a fortune in the glasses handle business. What a "Jerk". :D :D :D

This remote control..... and this paddle ball, ... ... . and that's all I need... ... ... ..... and this chair, ... . and that's all I need

Gale would be discraced

If this clown is acting like this after all the patchup work Gale did on this site to try to explain himself, maybe Gale should corral this loose cannon. . Before Briar does... LOL. .

Mopar... I have driven Jons truck a few times. You just keep it hammered when you shift it :D you would be surprised how the NV4500 likes to be stomp shifted lol. I think that truck has 13s in it with some traction help. I am not sure what his 60fts are but I went a 14. 48 in it and only had a 2. 17 60ft. He hadn't let me drive since I ran it last and seemed to forget where the gears were  I bet a Dr. P truck could do that with no smoke and a stock clutch LOL right

I heard the same Dr P thing

One of our NW BOMBers went to Kellog Idaho to dyno his truck, and when he came back he said Dr P has filed bankruptsy. I don't know how thw story can get more accurate than that.

But this Naven guy seems to be a fool because he spouts off about things he obviously knows nothing about. He has a truck listed in his sig and it has the Banks kit installed. Naven,in case you don't know, the Banks Ottomind does overfuel your truck to give you more horsepower. I won't bash the Banks stuff, buy what you like... but get edjucated about your stuff man, you're not winning points with us here.
