Drag race 99 cummins VS 97 Powerstroke

Well, I don't know what to say about that? But, I do know we have some awesome pics of a truck pull we went to over the weekend and let's just put it this way, the two tweaked POWERCHOKES that pulled with us didn't get any of their entry money back! I remember my famous last words as the guy in the 2000 model Superduty with a set of $2500 injectors as he claims stalled his engine at the starting line when he tighten the chain with the sled, " HEY MAN, I GOT THAT ON TAPE" as I ran my Sony Handycam... lol... . I got to drag race my friends 97 powerstroke yesterday. His rig has a chip and a downpipe from dd. He also has auto with 4. 10 rears with 35 inch tires. My truck is stock, 3. 54 gears and auto also. From a rolling start at 5mph we punched our trucks and the ford pulled out to a two truck lead a never looked backed. From a dead stop it was the same result. I'm still proud of my cummins and always will be. I believe I still had a good showing. Now the real race is on. If I get the true torque module from dd will I hang with him? Please Help?

Try to compare apples with apples... .
Next time race with him from 55mph and then stand on it, probably will see a different result. 4:10s will pull better from a stop/slow roll(all other things being equal).

RC , he has more cubes to start and your stock auto is a load when the TC is not locked . plus he has a chip , the PS gets alot of help from that , not a fair race . tell him to remove his chip and try it again till you add some HP .
