Competition Bum talk

Competition Race clutch?

We are having another Diesel Power Drag Racing Series(DHRA) event this saturday, 7/30, at Pittsburgh Raceway Park(aka Keystone).

Looking at the weather today, it says low 80's with not a cloud in the sky. So it should be a perfect day for some drag racing.

Don't be intimidated. Its all in good fun. Even if you have never been on a track, come out, give it a shot.

From what I am hearing, we should have a pretty good sized group going up on Saturday.

More info on the track:

Gates open at 1PM, Time Trials 3 PM

Eliminations immediately following

Hope to see you all there...

I'll be there for sure. And from what I understand, there are going to be quite a few others. It should be a good day of racing.

Justin

I'll be there too.

Remember, the more guys we got, the more fun it'll be! So get EVERYONE you know to come out! Stock truck or modified, it'll still be fun!

Besides, rhumor has it Cooter Bob (IRP burnout king) will make an appearance!!! And the last I checked, he still has some rubber left on his tires!!! (and I say he has to put on a show to retain his throne!)

Hey Andy, get Crazy Dave Radzierez to make an appearance!

That rumor is true. Cooter Bob is definitely going to be there, bald tires and all. :-laf

And about Dave, I think if we keep on him enough, he'll show...

Isn't that right Dave???

There is also a rumor that Patriot Diesel might show up and make a few passes down the 1/4 mile...

Andy... do you remember Applebee's. Do you think that it is wise to be calling Dave out... :-laf :-laf

Yeah I guess you are right BUT the way I see it is, if he would show up, it would go like this:

One pulling truck down the track til it breaks, then out comes the next pulling truck down the track til it breaks and last but not least, unhook the twin turboed tow rig and drag race it... :D :-laf :D

Your right Andy, thats what Dave would do. The only thing else that would happen is he would break the tow truck, then use parts from all 3 to repair one so he could pull his two broken trucks home. Maybe even if Dave doesn't come up and race he'd show up for dinner out afterwards :-laf , at least we would all be thoroughly entertained.

Cooter Bob in da house on 7/30

Cooter Bob welcomes all (even powerstrokes) to Keystone on Saturday for the second go around of the amateur crop dusting series in Westmoreland County. Special guest appearances by Andy “I broke Dave Dunbar’s dyno” Sebek, Eddie “Look Gigs only two pedals now” Brewer, Justin “Hey Cooter wanna swap VP44’s” Gillott, Marvin “Just gonna put her on the high side and squish her on down” Goodwin & Dave "I know ya still got the box it came in" Radzierez. There will be burnout demonstrations immediately following the event……hell maybe even on the way to the event depending on how much Cooter Bob has been drinking. Come one, come all, come get some! Yeee haaa!

Hey Sleddy,

I KNOW your truck can do a burnout. Why not stop down and take a run or two down the track? :p

You can even use your Dads truck...

Keystone Diesel Convoy...

If anyone is interested, we are leaving my shop between noon and 12:30 heading for the track.

Just give me a call in the morning if you are going to join us.
