That rust bucket has to weigh 6500 lbs at the end of the track too buddy, and I know your dumping at least 500 lbs of rust along the way. People think all that stuff behind you is soot, but its not, its rust dust. That is a hell of a plow truck, I'll give you that. Hopefully its not to warm that day, but in case it is you can sit in my air conditioned ride, maybe I'll even take you up the road for some ice cream. You ask what it is that I am doing that whole time going down the track, to you its a drag race, to me its an obsticle course, heres my perspective:

9 mississippi - keep to the left cause there goes the small one

10 mississippi - wave to Timmy, cause there he goes

11 mississippi

12 mississippi - stop, turn around and get out the broom and help Timmy clean up his mess.

What is really going to be hilarious is when Ted takes his dedicated drag truck and gets dusted by my quad cab, 4wd, daily driver. Is that going to hurt Ted? I hope we can still be friends after that happens. Ted, your not the only one that will have made some changes since maple grove.



Heck, I ran a 12. 93 at maple grove(BEFORE I WAS EVEN ATTEMPTING TO GO FAST), then hooked a loaded gooseneck to the truck and left for home. You ran what, a 12. 40 best, before putting your truck ON it's trailer?



Tim, your truck is a time bomb. If it stays together, you'll beat me down the track. I figure i have a better then 50% chance at winning. lol

What injectors were you running with that 12. 87??? NOS??? Oh yeah, you had that too.



I told ya Ted, i wasn't even trying to go fast before. Everyone knows DD2's aren't a racing injector. But they are enough (in my truck anyway) to run within . 03 sec of your fastest time with much bigger injectors and NOS. Unhook your "tow truck. " I'll race that one without changing a thing.



In Pitts, I think i'll leave my tailgate on and up, maybe write an insprining message on it, so you don't give up as i pull away from you down the track.

Chris, Your right, I did have the nitrous on when I ran the 12. 87, but that day the truck was only running 13. 50's on the motor and we later found that it had a blown head gasket. Ole Blue aint for racing anymore, shes all set up for towing now, I was just trying to put the fear in ya, which seems to have worked. But maybe a tow truck challenge would be a good idea.



Writing an inspiring message on that tail gate is a great idea. As we push it up on my trailer, we will need some inspiration to push it over the hump and the rest of the way on. What a better place to look, then right in front of us :-laf



You had a great set up before, now you've gone and changed it all up. The gods of diesel drag racing don't like changes. Your trip to K-Mart should have been a warning to ya :-laf
