I wonder if I would get quicker 1/4 mile times if I locked my convertor with the tow lock? Red setting ,which is forced lock. 2nd,3rd,ODTrans is in second for less than 1 second after take off
 
Yes... . you have a billet input shaft, that is the weak link on locked shifts! I don't know about your transmission or how the PCM acts but on mine with the switch locked once you go into second gear it will lock the converter a few seconds after picking up second gear.

If it's a few seconds after lock up then I will never see it because when it's going through the gears it's less than 2 seconds in second gear
 
What "Tow Lock" are you speaking about? I have tried several Mystery switch config's and they either wont work or I get codes.
