In the beginning, all trucks are created equal. That's where we come into play. Here is a 2006 Stock MegaCab and the transformation it will make this week.

ENJOY,

Greg DRC

it looks good. i plan on doing the same late this year(when the AZ weather permits). what do you have to do in the fenderwells, to make them look ok? also is it safe to paint them first or mock up and then paint?

MBigley,

We paint first and then install. I have fenderliners that I make to fit the fenders. It is a clean stock finish. As for the weather, it was 105* today in 29 Palms. No rest for the wicked.

Trusses ?

Bob,

I am installing them in house only. Not for retail sale, only a custom DRC install.

Here are some install pics of the rear glass. I will shoot the truck in the AM to show the rear glass. Drilling of spotwelds and removal of sheetmetal process. A special tool is required.

Goodmorning Fellas,

The Fiberglass install went great. The look of the MegaCab is awsome and is even more MEGA now. . ! :D We will be installing the KORE Unlimited Series today and tomorrow, I will post pics as I can. The truck will be done on Friday. Big Air shots will Follow..... :D

Looks like a 3/8 Rota-Broach? Use em all the time. Clean, round holes. :D

That baby needs some meats under it. Glass fenders and stock tires make her look tipsey. I'm sure you'll fix that soon enough. Looks good man.

The Wheels are being powdercoated today. The Toyo Open Country AT's are 37x14. 50"x17". They will fill the wheel well up quite nice. I will post asap.

Thanks,

Greg DRC

Looking mighty fine. Those fenders are growing on me. What does the buldge measure in the rear? I only have 1-2" in between my slide in camper legs as is.

I'm back and forth on my next set of tires, Toyo MT or the AT's. What pushed this customer over to the AT's? My thinking was that the AT's would float in the sand a lot better and I'd get better gas milage, but they don't look as mean... Decisions, Decisions...

Greg what color is the powdercoat on the wheels?, and is this truck getting the full treatment.

Jake

Hi Jakey,

The PCoat is a custom blend my powdercoater does for me. It is a dark grey with a silver flake. It wasn't what I expected but the outcome is awsome. We have been putting it on Stock Dodge Wheels and selling them to our customers.

It is getting the FULL TREATMENT... .

Hi Greg,

I like those wheels. What kind are they? What about size and backspacing? Are you selling them?

Thanks,

Marty

Those wheels are the Centerline 8 Ball. 17x9 with 4. 5 inch back. It is a little wide and a little too much offset for my liking. It does fill the fenderwells pretty good. We sell the 17x8. 5 with 6 inch back. Powdercoating is available too.
