Look what Greg Boardman did to my truck!!!

He cut it up with a Sawzall and gave it back looking like this!!

I Can't Believe It!

Has he gone mad????

Kent- Is that truck still considered stock? I don't really know that much about Baja rules and was wondering. Also is there a place where we can see where you are running next. I would really like to go down this year, but I dont see my wife letting it happen :{ .

Kent, your ride is the most proportioned, best looking dodge I've seen to date... . The flairs look GORGEOUS!!!! Yes I just used that word. . :p

Don Thuren :

Mmmmmmmm... . My favorite tool nestling my favorite blade... .

Ladies and gentleman, THE TORCH..... Oo.

Don,

That's hot!

You knew exactly what blade that is! Gotta love THE TORCH! When certain guys get around those tools I see their trigger-fingers start twitching and a weird look gets in their eyes. Guess you're one of us!

Thanks for the compliments on our truck. It took lots of work, man. Lots of work...

How is your new shop coming? Are you getting settled in?

Travis,

Nope, The Beast is no longer legal for the Stock Full. At Parker, Kroeker proved that he couldn't drive it properly anyway :D .

Much more racing is to come - just not in the Stock Full class. The Beast has become kind of historical, so from now on we're going to give it love instead of punish it. Don't get us wrong - it's still going to tow, prerun and R and D, but she's going to get replaced by something else for the race effort - no glass, no door liners etc.

We will be doing many more Baja runs. If you come down in November for the 1000, as always, we'll be there.

Yep, I'll just about take a sawzall/torch blade combo over a nice plasma anyday. . ;)

I wish the shop/house was coming along but with paying for my wedding/honeymoon last week, I managed to swiftly empty my bank account, and the $36,000 water meter/permit bill is not making things go any faster. Damn Los Angeles county and gov fee's... . Kinda nut's when the $300 water meter cost more to put in than the 5 acres cost in the first place... . Oh well..... :)

Once I get settled out there you guys gotta' come up for a desert bashing weekend!!! :D I have a nice test loop set up... .

A desert duel? Sounds like fun! What weapons? Dirt bikes, trucks, or Sawzalls? :D

Perhaps all three? :D

Seriously though: we would love to roost and hang out a bit. Good luck getting your property squared away - and don't let those inspectors, bean-counters and office-squints get you down!

Building in California is super tough. I'm currently going through the same type of stuff with our new building - 3600 square feet of hell. I love California but I think the whole process would be much easier in Nevada or Arizona.

Let us know when you're ready to roost!

Best Regards,

Kent Kroeker

Greg- How many inches of lift are on that blue truck in that picture? Cuz I know that guy is not that short. Not a short joke so don't be mad I am 5'9".

Also that is a sweet looking 06 dually w/ the flatbed.

So KORE is getting into the "lift kit" business? :--) When are the KORE body lifts going to be available? Some of them guys down south with them billy bob bumpers and gun racks will be all over that! Just kidding! (I hope)

Greg, on another forum, you mentioned a lower-cost front light bar. Do you have any pics of that yet?

I showed my wife these pictures and said "these guyz would be fun to hang out w/ huh?"

She said you get into enough trouble all by yourself. :-laf

P. S. Greg she said she couldn't beleive you were cutting up such a pretty new red truck.

Travis,

Please let your sweet wife know that I am a professional and have cut up many trucks... :-laf :-laf :-laf But do not ever tell her what we do is fun! Tell her it is invigorating!!! :-laf :-laf
