Once we have the wheels and tires on the Banks truck we will post some pictures. I turned out to be the best so far. This is by far the nicest looking truck we have built to date and they are only getting better! Plus I have a nice trophy... ... . A "Banks Sidewinder" bedside to hang up in the office!!! Wooo Hooo !!!!

Have you guys seen the latest episode of "De-Pimp My Ride?"

It stars Greg Boardman, a clapped-out Sawzall and a truck called the "Sidewinder All Terrain!"

This truck will be at "Off Road Expo" this weekend along with two other KORE/DRC Dodge Rams. Hope to see you there.

Everyone have a great one!

Over and Out,

Kent Kroeker

What about all the talk regarding the "CORRECT" wheel offsets and backspacing. Those look like a deeper dish wheel. I realize you're putting bigger flared fenders on there but I thought the whole idea was to keep the suspension forces over the stock axis as the DC engineers intended. This is just something I've been contemplating since I see another aftermarket wheel offered on the website.

Man Greg that is sweet. Very Invigorating. You guyz don't need a test vehicle w/ 328k miles on her do ya? I guess I need to save some of my pennies.

Here is a list of the parts on the Banks truck:

Kore Race System

Kore Control Arms

Kore anti-sway bar

Kore Fox Steering Stabilizer

DRC Racing Fiberglass Front

DRC Racing Fiberglass Rear

DRC Racing Light Bar

Baja Designs Off Road Lights

Off Road Warehouse Spare Carrier

Weld Wheel Bead Locks ( Hard Anodized Black )

Toyo Open Country Mud Terrain 37" Tires

Banks 500 HP Sidewinder setup

I appreciate all of the credit that KORE gave DRC on the buildup of this amazing truck. It came out so good... ..... It looks like a Ferrari! There are over 200 hours of build time that has gone into this truck with no room for error. We got this truck on Tuesday Sept 27th. On Tuesday Oct 4th it was finished. If you are in the SO CAL area, come see it at the Off Road Expo in Pamona, Ca this weekend. KORE will have the Race truck there, the blue Hemi, and the Banks truck will be there. All of them KORE/DRC efforts.

Thanks for your support,

Greg DRC

93 minutes south of the Rockodile, 21 minutes north of Coco's, and 2 minutes and 30 seconds west of Alfonsinas.

If you're driving the Sidewinder...

I went to the show on Saturday. Saw the three trucks - very nice!

Interesting that on the board next to the red truck that the board listed the suspension as Banks/KORE - is Banks now a distributor for KORE?

Unfortunately, the KORE booth was deserted all day (I went back several times). A Banks guy outside near the Sidewinder truck said that Kent was around - but in disguise (no KORE ID). Kent, I wanted to talk to you or Greg about suspension for my truck! (There apparently was no DRC booth. )

ohnoitsyu,

Nobody has ever built Dodge trucks like this before so all day Saturday I shifted from truck to truck observing and not interacting. None of our trucks had huge logos on them either - just little stickers in the rear windows. There was no literature or banner in our booth. We wanted to get unbiased reactions and see how much people already knew about us. At any given time there was usually a KORE rep near our trucks, but they were instructed not to interact, just to observe. I spent a lot of time around our race truck. As people walked by I was really surprised to hear stuff like, "That's the KORE Baja truck!" or "That's the Dodge that got third in Stock Full!" It was fun to open the door and let little kids crawl around inside The Beast. On Sunday, we spent more time talking with people, but throughout the entire weekend we really wanted the focus to be on the trucks and not on us.
