All:
I've struggled with a slight right pull since new and have done the dealer visit thing 3 times for alignments and gotten the regular "it's within specs" comment, rotated tires etc etc to no avail. I've reached the 36,000 mile mark on the truck and as a result on now being my own warranty shop I recently added a Lorenz 5100 suspension setup along with the Dynatrac free spin hub conversion kit. It's time for new tires and I would like to finally try and address both the right pull as well as the right tire wear. I've done the search and although this subject has been covered in quite some detail most of the information is rather old.
When looking at the truck from the front there appears to be excessive +camber on the right side... . always did but the alignment guy says, "it's within spec". I commented that Ray Charles could see that the right front appears to have excessive camber... . no luck... I lose. I would like to know, based on real world data, what is the appropriate front end alignment specs that our heavy trucks should be setup to in order to achieve both the best tracking path and tire wear. Also, if anyone can recommend a shop in the Houston, TX area that has knowledge of our unique Dodge DNA of right pull I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance for any help!
