Okay if money was no object what would you do to build a real hot motor capable of making 800 hp?

I have my dream engine as well thanks to Garmon's diesel. Custom pistons and cam.

Maybe I need to be a little clearer. I want to buld the motor myself. Oh I know parts will go out to be "improved" but besides head work, pump work, twins and injectors what would you do?

I think I would find a place that could check the block for weak spots. Casting flaws, thin spots, and stuff like that.

I'm building my dream motor. All I am lacking from making it perfect is more room under the hood for bigger intake plumbing.

Balance the pistons, rods and crankshaft as an assembly. Use a stud griddle and studs to hold it together.
