Mine is an 01 and it is driftwood. It came out early in the year. I think the silver started 2001. 5.

Manufacture date on my truck is 2/00 meaning Feb 2000.

I have a y2k in driftwood (looks silver)that i took delivery in november 1999.

The build date will be on a small placard on the driver's side door jamb. Also on the placard will be the VIN, tires pressure stuff, axle limts, etc.

I took delivery of my '01 in March of 2000 and it is driftwood.
