Well, it's time to install my gauges. I have the Westach EGT/Boost comb plus the Temp combo. I removed them from my 1998 1/2. I did not originally install them. My question is this; looking at the pictures, when drilling the EGT, one is higher and one lower on the exhaust. Also one thread shows the Top of the manifold. Does it make a difference were you drill it? No matter were it is it doesn't look easy. Also, on the BOOST the bolt you replace looks hard to reach. Does it matter which bolt you remove

Thanks for any info,

Ron

well when you find out about the boost can you let me know I will attempt

to install tommorow egt, boost, and trans temp got my kit from Diesel manor

will let you know how my install goes:confused:

Thanks To John Holmes

John Holmes's web at carsondodge.com steered me in the right direction. For the BOOST he said on the intake bolt closest to the front and closest to the head. You can get to the 10mm bolt with a long extension. I had a bolt adapter that GENO sent with the gauges(RLT Boost Adapter). The EGT is a bear to drill. John say's as near to #5. I'm not finished with this, having problem's with the tap. Going to buy a better one. Removed the air cleaner box and extender.

Good luck,RonOo.
