I just lemon-lawed my 03 and I'm sure it's for sale now (I settled with DC before we went to "court" so I don't even think it will show up as a lemon on carfax). fyi - this was for the 70mph vibe.

I see a lot of people looking at used trucks (which are usually all excellent buys!). Just do yourself a favor and make sure you do more than "take it around the block" before signing anything. I made that mistake with a new truck and it took over a year to correct.

Good advice. When I took delivery of my 04. 5, I did not drive it till I completed the paperwork. I had sold my old truck a month earilier and flown from Tucson to Denver to pick it up, so I was committed to buying it regardless of problems. Fortunately, I've never had any issues with it, but other's have.

I had an 03 that DC bought back from me. They replaced the instrument cluster 5 times before the first oil change. It was a very easy process and didnt cost me a dime. My dealer really took care of me.

Not to mention the recent flooding. Dealers are so slimey that even their own organization, NADA (National Automobile Dealers Association) has gotten involved to help educate the public on what to look out for on a used vehicle to protect from buying one that was flooded. Check it out here.

Same thing I did with the '03. I had been driving a rental for over a month and picked the truck up at 830 at night.
