I am leaking transmission fluid through the
transfer case seal on the drive shaft. Been to the dealer once already who claims to have replaced the seal. No Joy. Anyone else had similar seepage?

I had a leak also that a seal didn't fix,I found that the leak was coming through the drive shaft yoke plug, cleaned it good and applied silicone and problem solved.

I had the same seal replaced at 22,000 miles or so. I just checked it at 39,000 miles, and it's starting to slightly "weep" -- but not enough to drip (yet).

Haven't had it happen to my Dodge, but know the problem. Most likely grit sticking in the leaking fluid has worn a groove in the shaft where the seal rides. You can replace seals to the end of days and it will eventually still leak unless the shaft is replaced. Any mechanic worth his salt knows this, take your truck to another dealer.

Mine was seeping, always a drop hanging but nothing on the ground. Seeping between the seal steel and the machined bore where the seal sits in the aluminum shaft housing. Factory did not ues any sealer in aluminum bore before installing seal.
