Speed "jumps" 5-8 mph instead of smooth sweep. Any one ever heard of this?

I have a 6" Superlift and have been through 2 carrier bearings in 8500 mi. Now on my third, am wondering if anyone else is having this issue?

The lift came with a bracket to lower the bearing, but obviously the angle is still wrong.

Does anyone know what the specs. are for driveline angles???

All joints should be between . 5* - 3*. You may have to shim the rear axle to tilt the pinion up, and or space the carrier down more. One more thing, the rear drive shaft maybe too short as well.

Carlos, there's a couple of aftermarket carrior bearings avialable, which might stand up to a more severe life cycle. I dont have any part #'s but Inland Driveline Service (A shop in SoCal) had some on there web sight. Brett said he thought energy suspension might make some as well, but not sure.

Also the stess of your axle wrap will strain the joint pretty bad, did you ever get tracion bars?
