anyone had troubles with it, I just got done putting in a Southbend con ofe and I noticed the carrier bearing on the rear driveline had some grease oozing out of it but no zert? didnt look to closley but can we drill and tap a zert into it ?? I did just that with all the frontend but never considered the carrier:confused: ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Kevin

I haven't had that problem, but I did have to replace the rubber mount around the bearing. Good luck if you have to replace the whole assm. I couldn't find one anywhere but DC. And they wanted $185 for it!!!!!!!!

No way:--)

I replaced mine. As far as I could tell the bearing is a sealed unit. I had to cough up $220 bucks Canadian to the Stealer. Napa etc does not carry the part when I was looking.
