Hello everybody,
My center support bearing went out today(Thankfully 1 mile from home) and now I need a replacement. I was looking for some input on the best place to get one. Thanks in advance for your input.

A buddy of mine in the drive shaft business suggests you only buy the square housing unit and not the curved housing unit.. his belief is that the square housing unit is stronger and better manufactured....

So that is what I've always done....

Thank you for your responses. I ended up ordering the OEM bearing through Amazon and it is coming from a dealership out of Kansas. I did check Rockauto but none in stock. It amazes me how it is cheaper to order parts on-line from a dealership and they are so much cheaper than if you walked in door to purchase.

Competition. On-line they're competing with every dealer out there but at their counter they have a "captive audience".

A few years back I ran the on-line sales division of the Power Sports dealership I'd been at for 25 years. They decided they were going to make a serious run at internet sales. I had an e-commerce website for factory parts and I had over 100K aftermarket items listed on Amazon. They were firm in their policy that on-line orders could not be picked up at the store, they must be shipped, and if you came in the store you could not buy at internet prices. We did pretty well on-line but the local business fell off. They shut it down after 18 months. It was just starting to pay for itself.
