Points to remember, TOB is turning ALL the time, but the pressure on it changes from just a turning pre-load to 4-500 Lbs at peak point during release.
Engine running: pilot is not "active" in neutral, clutch engaged (pedal up). Pilot is active, in gear, clutch released (pedal down) like when you are at a stoplight waiting for a change.
