driveline swap what do I need to run the 48RE

So in the H1 I'm swapping the 2005 driveline into I'm at the point of rebuilding the transmission. What I can't figure out is where the transmission gets its information from on shifting? Do I need to buy the suncoast computer and valve body or do I just need to wire things up using the donor truck. HELP!

My 03 has a separate PCM(powertrain control module), But I believe the 05's transmission control was incorporated into the ECM, so a standalone would be your only choice I believe. Possibly cerb(our trans aficionado) will see this and give you better info.
